Electric traction is the key to sustainable mobility. Considering this, ISEC is a founder of the Portuguese Electric Vehicle Association since 1999 and since 2005 a member of its Board of Directors. From this desire to contribute to this goal of sustainable mobility and from the desire of the Direction of the Department of Electrical Engineering, DEE, to have a project that could serve as a basis for student projects and to support engineering education as well as a research platform for masters and doctorates works, was born the VEIL Project at the DEE-ISEC.
