Invitation Letter

The conference organisers can provide an official Invitation Letter to help the participants to obtain a visa, to raise travel funds or for administrative purposes. We would like to point out that invitation letters are only sent to the address indicated by the applicants. The provided name and address must exactly match that on their passport.

All letters will be emailed to the applicants as a signed pdf document, for them to print as required. The organisers will not send invitation letters to embassies, neither by fax/email nor by separate post. The applicants are responsible to take care of their own visa application and need to directly contact the respective embassy. Please consider that the invitation letter is a standard letter which will not be modified individually.

All requests for Letters of Invitation should be addressed by email directly to the Chair of UPEC 2016, Prof. Carlos Ferreira, at cmacfer@isec.pt and copied upec2016@isec.pt.

The following information is required:

  • Title (Mr., Prof., Dr., ...)
  • Full Name (as it appears on your passport)
  • Full Home Address
  • Email
  • Passport Number (for VISA purposes)
  • Date of Birth (dd/mm/yyyy) (for VISA purposes)
  • Paper ID

Please note that each individual requesting an invitation letter must make a separate request.
Letters of invitation will only be issued to those who have registered on the Conference Paper Submission Website – CMT for UPEC 2016 to primary authors or co-authors of papers or to exhibitors.
Please note that a letter of invitation does not imply any obligation, financial or otherwise, on the organisers of the conference.
